Did the BC get new staff members recently? They've been getting better over the last few years.

Happened to catch their rehearsal near my town, the night before this video, and even though they were sweaty and in shorts and t-shirts, I was blown away by the complexity of the composition, the choreography. The performance was close to a religious experience, and they genuinely appeared 13:17 to enjoy being on the field!

i love the brass book and the percussion for how difficult it is and not to mention how spread out they are on the field but for some reason i can’t find my self to enjoy this show sorry Boston 😢

It’s pure music in motion, not cluttered visually or musically. It really soars at times, and even though the theme is a bit abstract for me it evokes something mystical...a seeker of truth? … a spiritual vagabond? Also my favorite of 2024. And yes, chills.

Where this show loses me is in two (well, more like three) places. For one, Prometheus should have a unique uniform. Two, the eagle flag is kinda lame. I thought it would be a placeholder for later in the season, but that's not looking super promising. Why not take a page out of Spirit of Atlanta's book and give one of the guard members wings? Or have a drill formation that looks like an eagle? Three, the Mackey part is a bit lackluster.
